iDo Notepad Pro (Journal/Diary) App Reviews

This app is really bad. I wasted $4.99 for the pro version. Do not buy this.

It would be a great app if support would respond. Sent in a question over 2 weeks ago and still no reply. I wanted to know how to take what I have on my iPhone 6 and duplicate it on my newly acquired iPad Air 2. Oh well.

I wanted an app that would allow me to keep a daily food journal where I could easily cut and paste online info, etc. I also needed to be able to organize my entries into folders. This app does all that and more. I started with the free version and quickly updated to the Pro version - well worth the cost!

I was hoping to lock a folder that contains a series of notes but I guess that is not possible or something I just havent figured out how to do. The help notes were helpful but were not complete. There isnt a file close option. I didnt want my last personal note displayed on the screen. I finally just opened a new empty file so my screen was cleared. I guess this is what you get for $4.99 and you take it or leave it.

I really like this app for taking notes and syncing from my phone to iPad. Sometimes Ill just jot something down and then check it later. You can also put photos with your notes which makes it handy to remember things. Take time to read the how-to guide, and youll get familiar with all the features -- like the undo button, etc.

Great app. Has everything i need. I just wish there was a version for my laptop so I can add things when I am working on my computer whiteout having to look for the phone.

Have not used it long enough to give a true rating. Im please so far.

Very useful and reliable. I have had NO problems with it at all. Couldnt keep DropBox in order without it.

Please fix!!!! Every time I open this app, it shuts down.

I use it a lot to write stories and private notes. Its a very good app although it has a few issues (One is that adding photos is very buggy and unconventional compared to the default notepad) One thing I think would be wonderful to add is Google Drive integration. It would be wonderful if I could back-up all my stories to my drive.

Great little app so far. I had paid for and been using another journal/diary app but it totally shut down ( no support help that works) so Ive lost all that I had written there. Am hoping this doesnt do the same! Other than that, this is easy to use, has all the functions I need, etc. so I like it!

It would be nice if you could add a feature that allows us to put images inside the journal instead. It may seem big and can be annoying but instead of the image being displayed there would be a image icon that you can tap so it could view the image. Once done viewing the image just tap a minimize button to hide the image and turn it into the icon again. It would b very helpful if you did. Other than that the app is very useful in many ways.

One thing you dont want in a notes app is needless complexity; unfortunately, this app has more than its share at $4.99, its about $5.99 overpriced.

Notewhatever, diary, journal, is slightly misleading for me. My notes are interactive. Ive had this app for many many years. I have never used it. Ive tried many times, as I paid a lot for an app $7. I have never understood the 5 Star ratings it always gets. Sincere inquiry, what amazing things have people been doing with it? Non-navigable, file list only, journal entries without embedded photos? Not sure if there is geo-location for entries. Whats all the formatting for? Maybe to export to other apps to email, PDF, print? Update: I just read the latest features list - I am intrigued and may try again. If I can think of a document worth spending the time to create to do something beyond enjoy looking at it. Notes? Absolutely not for me. There still are no clickable links for web sites, dates, locations, contact info, etc. Ive been requesting that (live links) since ~ 2011, no iCloud sync.

Like your app - has all the Essentials! - wish u had "outline" for my book. On full screen, great! Dont like right pop up to press "bold" button. Should be on extended keyboard. On highlighting, cursor just dont cut it. A possible "highlight sentence" button can work! Other then that, its the best in the market. Keep it up. Nice app

I love this App! It works great, but I get cornfused from time to time. So much better than the Apple App. It keeps me a copy on each device so I can add a note anytime.

It fits my needs exactly as I wanted. I used free version for two years before purchasing full version. It was well worth the cost. Anytime I feel the need to write a thought something, I can take out my phone and scribble it down on this app. I have no concern that someone will dig through my phone and find these notes thanks to the password protection feature. I exported all my notes to my Dropbox before changing phone services, and can re-download them from my new phone. The online backup feature saved me over 300 notes before changing phones. It was well worth the small price, and I am extremely happy I purchased it! If you have notes youd like to backup or hide behind a passwords, I highly recommend this app.

After transferring all my notes from note pad the app crashes. I paid for a useless app and now cant access any of my notes

Thanks for such a great app. It is perfect. I downloaded Todoist first and it was not for me. I was bored. I am an Event Coordinator for my husbands Company. Found this app somehow and it is the best out there. I also wanted a personal journal with fotos. Perfecto. I am writing a book too. Even better. Everyday tasks, i can add it too. Thank you for the best organizational app I have come across yet. Thanks for a great app. I need a tutorial???

Syncs to all my apple devices. I love how it is private and efficient
